Job Summary
Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs; identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment if necessary; track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment; celebrate patient victories along the way. The role supports speech-language pathology services in an inpatient rehabilitation setting at Encompass Health, focusing on compassionate, patient-centered care using evidence-based practices and collaboration with a healthcare team to improve communication outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.
