Speech Pathologist

Job Summary
Provide Speech Pathologist services at Encompass Health with evaluation, assessment, development, and administration of personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. Identify issues, modify treatment as needed, and track and document patient performance and progress. Requires current licensure or certification per state regulations, CCC certification, CPR within 30 days of hire, and a Master’s degree preferred (or Bachelor’s degree with field experience). Focus on helping patients overcome speech and communication challenges within inpatient rehabilitation settings.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferred
- SLP CCC certification
- CPR certification preferred or required within 30 days of hire
