Job Summary
As a Speech Pathologist at Encompass Health, you will evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech and language treatment plans for patients, identify issues, modify therapy as needed, and track/document patient progress and responses to treatment. The role requires licensure/certification per state regulations, CCC, CPR eligibility, and a preferred Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s with relevant experience). You will be part of a national inpatient rehabilitation leader and contribute to patient-centered outcomes with opportunities for professional growth and continued education.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience
