Job Summary
Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized speech-language treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. Identifying issues and modifying therapy as necessary, while tracking and documenting patient progress and responses to treatment, and celebrating patient victories along the way. The role supports a patient-centered approach within a national inpatient rehabilitation leader, offering benefits, ongoing education opportunities, and a collaborative team environment. Includes responsibilities for maintaining licensure/CCC requirements and contributing to a high-quality care team at Encompass Health.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred or Bachelor's degree with field experience
