Job Summary
Speech Pathologist role at Encompass Health involved in evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized speech and language rehabilitation treatment plans for patients. Responsibilities include identifying issues, modifying therapy as needed, and tracking patient progress and responses to treatment, providing compassionate care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Requires state licensure or certification, CCC certification, and CPR (or completion within 30 days). A Master’s degree is preferred (or a Bachelor’s degree with field experience).
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
