Job Summary
Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary. Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment. Celebrate patient victories along the way. This role supports patients in overcoming communication challenges within Encompass Health's national inpatient rehabilitation network, utilizing cutting-edge technology in a collaborative environment. Current licensure, CCC certification, and CPR certification are required.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
- Successful completion of SLPCertification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.
