Job Summary
Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized speech-language therapy treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary. Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment. Celebrating patient victories along the way. Works within Encompass Health’s inpatient rehabilitation setting, contributing to a collaborative team and leveraging cutting-edge technology to support patient outcomes. Requires current state licensure or certification, CCC, CPR certification (or within 30 days of hire), and typically a Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s with relevant experience).
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master‘s degree preferred, or Bachelor‘s degree with field experience
