Speech Pathologist

Job Summary
Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized speech-language pathology treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs; identifying issues and modifying therapy as necessary; tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment; delivering patient-centered care within an inpatient rehabilitation setting for Encompass Health, the nation’s largest rehabilitation company. Requires state licensure/Certification, CCC, CPR (or within 30 days), and typically a Master's degree (or Bachelor's with relevant experience).
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- CCC certification (Completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
