Job Summary
Speech Pathologist at Encompass Health responsible for evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized speech and language rehabilitation treatment plans for patients; identifying issues and modifying therapy as needed; tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment; delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting; collaborating with a clinical team and utilizing evidence-based practices to support communication goals. Required qualifications include state licensure/certification, CCC, CPR (or within 30 days of hire), and a Master's degree preferred (or Bachelor's with field experience).
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
