Speech Pathologist

Job Summary
Evaluates, assesses, develops, and administers personalized speech and language rehabilitation treatment plans for patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Identifies issues and modifies speech therapy treatment as needed. Tracks and documents patient performance, progress, and response to treatment, celebrating patient victories along the way. Requires current state licensure or certification, CCC, CPR (or within 30 days of hire). Master's degree is preferred (Bachelor's with relevant experience acceptable). Works within Encompass Health, a nationwide rehabilitation leader, delivering compassionate care and leveraging advanced therapy technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
