Job Summary
Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment if necessary. Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment. Celebrate patient victories along the way. This role involves providing speech-language pathology services within an inpatient rehabilitation setting for Encompass Health, a national leader in post-acute care, with opportunities for growth, ongoing education, and a collaborative team environment. Requires current licensure or certification, CCC, CPR (within 30 days of hire), and a master's degree preferred (or bachelor's with field experience).
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.
