Job Summary
Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized speech-language therapy treatment plans for patients; identifying issues and modifying speech therapy as needed; tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment; celebrating patient victories while providing care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting for Encompass Health, a national leader in post-acute care. The role emphasizes working with patients to address speech and language rehabilitation needs, using evidence-based approaches, and contributing to a collaborative care environment with access to advanced technology.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
