Speech Pathologist

Job Summary
Evaluates, assesses, develops, and administers personalized speech and language rehabilitation treatment plans for patients; identifies issues and modifies therapy as needed; tracks and documents patient performance, progress, and response to treatment; supports patients’ communication needs using state-licensed practices; requires CCC-SLP, state licensure, and CPR (or verification within 30 days of hire); Master's degree preferred or Bachelor's with field experience; operates within Encompass Health’s inpatient rehabilitation framework and patient-centered approach.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
