Job Summary
Speech Pathologist providing evaluation, assessment, and development of personalized speech and language therapy treatment plans for patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities include identifying issues, modifying therapy as needed, and documenting patient progress and response to treatment. Requires current licensure or certification, CCC, CPR either at hire or within 30 days, and at least a Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s with relevant experience). The role supports a patient-centered approach within Encompass Health’s nationally recognized post-acute care network and offers opportunities for professional growth and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC- SLP-CCCs)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
