Job Summary
Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized speech-language pathology treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs in an inpatient setting. Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary. Tracking, documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment to drive outcomes. This role supports continuing education and growth opportunities within Encompass Health, a national inpatient rehabilitation leader, and requires licensure/certification per state regulations, CCC-SLP, and CPR within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
