Job Summary
Evaluate, assess, and implement personalized speech-language therapy plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs in an inpatient setting; identify and modify therapy approaches as needed; track and document patient performance and progress; contribute to a collaborative rehabilitation team at Encompass Health, a national inpatient rehabilitation leader. Requires state licensure or certification, CCC, CPR within 30 days of hire, and typically a Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s with relevant experience) for role performance.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
