Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, treat, and help restore speech language, cognitive communication, voice, swallowing, fluency, and other related disorders within patient capabilities under general supervision of the Clinical Manager. Manage rehabilitation duties for patients in VNA Rehab – Fairhaven, MA, including driving on average three or more times per week. Requires a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology, CCC-ASHA certification, two years of related experience, and MA/RI licensure. Full vaccination against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-ASHA) from the American Speech/Language & Hearing Association
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs
- Two (2) years of related experience in the field of Speech Therapy
- A Speech Therapist licensed by the Board of Registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support (BLS) & CPR certification
- MA and RI licensure
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
- Driving on average 3 or more times per week
