Job Summary
Deliver early intervention speech pathology services to children and families, conducting comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and developmental needs. Develop and implement individualised, evidence-based therapy plans aligned with family goals, while working collaboratively with caregivers and multidisciplinary teams using a transdisciplinary approach. Monitor client progress to adapt therapy programs and provide education and resources to empower families in home-based practice. Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and NDIS-related records within required timeframes, and build strong relationships with stakeholders such as schools and support coordinators.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Speech Pathology
- Membership / registration with relevant bodies (SPA)
- Current Driver's License and vehicle
- Current Working with Children Check or Working with Vulnerable People Registration (state specific)
- NDIS workers screening check & Police Check
- Accredited first aid & CPR certificate
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Exceptional observational and report writing skills
