Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver early intervention speech pathology services to children and families in Launceston. Develop and implement individualised therapy plans, monitor client progress, and adapt programs based on feedback. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams using a transdisciplinary approach while maintaining accurate NDIS documentation. Provide education and resources to empower families in home-based practice. This 12-month graduate program includes structured induction, weekly supervision, and a dedicated buddy to support your transition from student to independent clinician.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Speech Pathology
- Membership / registration with relevant bodies (SPA)
- Current Driver's License and vehicle
- Current Working with Children Check or Working with Vulnerable People Registration (state specific)
- NDIS workers screening check & Police Check
- Accredited first aid & CPR certificate
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Exceptional observational and report writing skills
