Speech Pathologist

Job Summary
Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized speech-language pathology treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. Identify issues and modify therapy as needed; track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment; celebrate patient victories as part of delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a large national rehabilitation provider. Requires SLP licensure or state certification, CCC, and CPR; Master’s degree preferred or Bachelor’s with field experience. Works within an inpatient setting at Encompass Health with opportunities for growth and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master‘s degree preferred, or Bachelor‘s degree with field experience
