Job Summary
Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized speech-language treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs; identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary; tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment; celebrating patient victories along the way. Qualifications include required state licensure or certification, CCC, CPR either already held or obtainable within 30 days, with Master’s degree preferred (or Bachelor’s with field experience). This role operates within Encompass Health’s inpatient rehabilitation context, contributing to patient-centered care and ongoing professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
