Job Summary
Provide speech and language rehabilitation to inpatients as part of Encompass Health's national inpatient rehabilitation team. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs; assess and identify issues, modify therapy as needed, and track/document patient progress. Celebrate patient victories and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team. Maintain state licensure/certification, CCC, and CPR compliance. Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master‘s degree preferred, or Bachelor‘s degree with field experience
