Speech Pathologist

Job Summary
Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary. Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment. Master's degree preferred or Bachelor’s with field experience; CCC certification; state licensure requirements and CPR within 30 days of hire. Working within Encompass Health’s inpatient rehabilitation setting to support patients’ communication goals.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience
Desired Qualifications
- SLP-CfC (CCC-SLP)
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- State licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- CPR certification
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings (preferred)
