Job Summary
Speech Pathologist responsibilities include evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized speech-language treatment plans for patients with rehabilitation needs; identifying issues and modifying therapy as needed; tracking and documenting patient progress and response to treatment; delivering compassionate care within a nationally recognized inpatient rehabilitation setting for Encompass Health, the nation’s largest rehabilitation company; collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and utilizing up-to-date technology to support patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.
