Job Summary
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations, then develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore communicative efficiency. Conduct comprehensive assessments including Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies in collaboration with Radiology, while documenting interventions and patient progress daily. Provide evidence-based therapy using positive reinforcement, educate patients and families on care continuity, and coordinate referrals with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Ensure accurate coding and charge log maintenance for compliance. Requires a Master's degree, active SLP license, and BLS certification. Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- SLP - Speech Language Pathologist license in state of employment
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under supervision
- BLS - Basic Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years of clinical experience in speech-language pathology
- Experience with Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies and dysphagia management
