Job Summary
Speech Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students. Responsibilities include evaluating students, developing and implementing IEPs, providing direct therapy in individual and small group settings, collaborating with teachers and support staff, monitoring progress, documenting outcomes, educating families and staff, attending IEP meetings, maintaining compliance with regulations, and pursuing ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of North Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
