Job Summary
Independently plan, direct, and administer evaluation and intervention to patients throughout the medical center, assessing and treating routine cases while seeking mentorship for complex diagnoses. Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate continuity of care from admission to discharge and participate in program development and quality improvement tasks. Ensure patient charges and documentation are accurate and entered timely, while engaging in infection control, equipment training, and compliance programs at both departmental and organizational levels. This part-time role (32 hours/week) supports the Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery Clinic at UW Medical Center-Montlake, an acute care academic center recognized for pioneering medical advances and compassionate patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by the State of Washington as an Audiologist
- A Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Equivalent education/experience
