Job Summary
Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. Identify issues and modify therapy protocols as necessary while tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment. Celebrate patient victories throughout the therapeutic process. This role supports Encompass Health's mission as a national inpatient rehabilitation leader, utilizing cutting-edge technology to help patients overcome communication challenges. Current licensure, CCC certification, and CPR certification are required, with a Master's degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
- Successful completion of SLPCertification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.
