Speech/Language Therapists - Full and Part-time

Job Summary
Conduct direct speech therapy rehabilitation for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury upon physician referral. Implement and interpret department programs, goals, and objectives while collaborating with nursing and medical staff. Liaise with patients, families, and support departments to ensure functional progress and quality of life. Evaluate care provided by Clinical Fellowship Year staff and utilize therapy software accurately. Maintain confidentiality, adhere to compliance training, and participate in community health projects. Full-time and PRN roles offer a $5,000 CFY and $10,000 CCC sign-on bonus, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits including 401(k) matching and medical coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy (minimum MS or MA SLP)
- ASHA certified (CCCs)
- Must be eligible for 9 month Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in order to earn ASHA certification (CCCs) and/or meeting ASHA credentialing criteria
- Once achieved, must maintain ASHA credentialing
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mail
- Must be able to oversee and evaluate care given by SLP CFYs
- Must be able to follow speech therapy treatment plans for patients under direction of the supervising SLP CCC and in accordance with Federal and State guidelines
- Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
