Job Summary
Deliver communication-focused interventions to pupils with identified needs while supporting early identification of speech, language, and communication needs. Provide staff training, guidance, and practical strategies to school teams, and develop group work programmes to improve inclusive educational outcomes. Collaborate with SENCOs and families to implement effective support plans across a cluster of schools within the MAT. Work independently and within a multidisciplinary team to enhance communication outcomes for children and young people aged 5–18.
Required Qualifications
- HCPC registration as a Speech & Language Therapist
- Experience working with children and young people
- Experience working within educational settings with children and young people aged 5–18 years
- Excellent communication and consultation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
