Job Summary
Deliver communication-focused interventions to pupils with identified needs and support early identification of speech, language, and communication needs. Provide staff training, guidance, and practical strategies while collaborating with school staff to implement effective support plans. Develop and facilitate group work programmes to improve inclusive educational outcomes across a cluster of schools. Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team within the "Experts at Hand" model. Flexible contract during the academic year (September – June) with competitive rates.
Required Qualifications
- HCPC registration as a Speech & Language Therapist
- Experience working with children and young people
- Experience working within educational settings with children and young people aged 5–18 years
- Excellent communication and consultation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Not a resident within the Red or Amber list of the Code of practice for the international recruitment of health and social care personnel in England
