Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathology Pediatric Resident in Ivy Rehab for Kids’ outpatient program. Full-time role (40 hours/week) within the Ivy Rehab Pediatric Residency Program. Responsibilities include learning across pediatric SLP topics such as oral motor/feeding, childhood apraxia of speech, autism, augmentative and alternative communication, language and articulation disorders, executive functioning, and pragmatic language to grow clinical skills and provide high-quality care. The resident will participate in required didactic modules, live patient examinations, case presentations, residency project work, mentorship, and ongoing professional development, with a 2-year employment commitment post-graduation. The program emphasizes mentorship, continuing education, and structured clinical development across pediatric therapy services (SLP, OT, PT, ABA) within a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Master’s Program
- Active SLP licensure in current state of practice, prior to Residency start date
- Employed as a Full-time Therapist for at least 3 months by Ivy Rehab Network, prior to the program start date
- ASHA membership and certification
- Commitment to completing all program requirements and a minimum of two years of continued employment post-graduation
