Job Summary
The Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will support the implementation of Individual Education Programs for students with disabilities and assist licensed Speech and Language Pathologists in delivering clinical services. Key responsibilities include conducting informal screenings, providing individual and group therapy, collecting data on student progress, and maintaining clinical records. The candidate should possess strong communication skills, effective time management, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders and current licensure in Massachusetts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Disorders or related field
- Licensed by Massachusetts Board of Registration in Allied Health Professionals as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a school setting providing direct Speech-Language Therapy Services with students preschool through grade 12
- Ability to work well with licensed Speech/Language Pathologists, staff, students, administrators, and parents
