Job Summary
Support the delivery of speech and language services to students in a school setting under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Implement therapy activities as directed by the supervising SLP; assist students in achieving IEP goals through structured interventions; provide direct and/or group therapy services; assist with documentation of progress and therapy sessions; prepare therapy materials and maintain organized records; collaborate with teachers, staff, and multidisciplinary teams; support students with articulation, language, and fluency needs; follow district guidelines and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders or related field
- Active Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
- Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed SLP
