Job Summary
Provide speech-language therapy support to students in a school-based setting under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Implement therapy activities, assist with IEP goals through structured interventions, document progress and sessions, prepare therapy materials, and maintain organized records. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and support teams to serve students with articulation, language, and fluency needs while following district guidelines. Requires active TX SLP-A licensure, a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders or related field, and a valid Texas driver’s license if travel between campuses; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Placement options include full-time or part-time in a school environment (Pre-K through High School) with on-site duties.
Required Qualifications
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant through the Texas State Board
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders or related field
- Valid Texas driver’s license (if travel between campuses is required)
- Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed SLP
