Job Summary
Implement direct therapy and treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for pediatric patients in clinic, school, home, and community-based settings. Complete daily documentation including SOAP notes and treatment updates, while supporting progress report preparation and treatment planning as directed. Communicate professionally with patients, families, and the clinical team while managing time effectively between direct treatment, documentation, scheduling, and other assigned duties. Maintain organized patient records in accordance with company policy and HIPAA requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Current California SLPA license
- Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, clinic-based, or home-based services
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build positive rapport with patients, families, and team members
- Strong organization, time management, and follow-through
- Positive, collaborative, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently while following supervision requirements and company procedures
