Job Summary
Implement direct speech-language therapy and treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP for elementary-aged students. Document treatment sessions and progress reports accurately, updating student progress biannually. Assist with scheduling IEP meetings and maintaining speech files while performing other related duties as assigned by management. This bilingual (English/Spanish) school-based role offers an immediate start with full-time hours in San Jose.
Required Qualifications
- Active California SLPA License
- Associate's Degree in Speech Pathology or Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strong ability to build rapport with students, families, and school staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive, collaborative demeanor with a passion for working with diverse student populations
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Must be available for immediate start
- Must be available for in-person work
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to San Jose, CA
