Job Summary
Provide speech language services to Pre-K through grade 12 students with speech and language disabilities under the direct supervision of a licensed Speech/Language Pathologist. Deliver therapy sessions, prepare materials and activities, and co-teach with classroom teachers to implement accommodations and modifications. Attend IEP meetings, provide narrative progress reports, and keep data for program planning while safeguarding student confidentiality. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills with students, parents, staff, and administration. Adhere to federal, state, and local laws and ethical standards. Complies with established lines of authority and program requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Successful complete of a school speech language pathology assistant program or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree
- Licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in school based practice preferred
