Job Summary
Part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Lab Instructor at Mitchell Technical College. Responsible for conducting practical training and assessment for students in the Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program to facilitate successful completion of course components. Requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, state licensure, and the ability to train others with strong communication skills. Travel to lab sites may be required depending on student enrollment and applicant location. Teleconferencing/teletherapy and iPad technology skills are advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language Hearing Association
- State licensed or certified to practice speech-language pathology
- Strong spoken and written communication skills
- Desire to train others
- Strong computer skills including teleconferencing/teletherapy and iPad technology
