Job Summary
Contact patients to reschedule clinic appointments and obtain prior authorizations for voice evaluations. Answer SLP portal messages and patient calls regarding testing or voice questions, then prepare patients for telehealth visits. Clean exam rooms and instruments, complete chart documentation, and greet and room patients. Assist with physician procedure days by processing side channel scope and securing patient consents. Maintain CPR certification and adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and Microsoft Office standards. Work Mondays through Fridays from 7:45am to 4:30pm with occasional overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPR certification
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Physicians and all co-workers
- Adherence to all HIPAA privacy and security regulations and guidelines
- Awareness of and compliance with all OSHA standards and guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office environment
