Speech Language Pathologists

Conduct formal diagnostic evaluations and speech/language screenings to assess communication skills including articulation, language, fluency, pragmatics, and voice. Develop, implement, and manage measurable IEP goals aligned with Virginia Standards of Learning. Provide direct and push-in/pull-out therapy services individually or in small groups across general and special education settings. Lead school-level eligibility committees, IEP team meetings, and Child Study team consults while collaborating with special education teachers, OTs, PTs, and parents to integrate communication strategies. Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and service tracking per Virginia Department of Education standards. Secure a Master's degree, active Virginia licensure, and ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
