Job Summary
Provide evaluation and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders in adults, geriatrics, and adolescents in inpatient and outpatient settings; develop and monitor treatment plans; address neurogenic, maxillofacial, voice, fluency, and cognitive/communication disorders as well as swallowing disorders; produce written evaluation and discharge reports; counsel patients, families, and caregivers; collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan and assess treatment programs; promote and educate among educational, medical, social, dental, and other professional groups.
Required Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology or Communicative Disorders or equivalent degree approved by the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Current Washington State license to practice as a Speech Pathologist.
