Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist for school-based services: organizes and coordinates speech-language pathology services, conducts screening and testing, develops and implements individual education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders, provides therapy using diagnostic tools and evidence-based techniques, collaborates with teachers, families, and other professionals, supervises SLPA/clinical fellows, and maintains thorough documentation. Requires master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a G license from the NC Department of Public Instruction; duties include planning therapy, using appropriate assessment methods, and supporting curriculum goals. Strong knowledge of speech pathology theory, evaluation tools, assistive technology, and ability to document sessions and manage resources.
