Job Summary
Provide skilled speech-language pathology services in a Skilled Nursing Facility on a travel contract. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on dysphagia assessment and treatment, cognitive-communication disorders, and comprehensive documentation in electronic health records. Maintain professional standards, ensure regulatory compliance, and support patient safety and quality of care. Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active New Jersey state license or ability to obtain required state licensure prior to the assignment start
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience providing SLP services in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment, cognitive-communication disorders, and documentation in electronic health records preferred
- FMLA coverage experience preferred
