Job Summary
Conduct speech and swallowing evaluations and treatment for patients in skilled nursing facilities during day shifts (0830-1630) on a 5x8 schedule. Maintain active Pennsylvania SLP licensure, complete clinical fellowship year, and document progress in electronic medical records. Float to other facilities as needed while supporting patients with dysphagia, cognitive-communication, and voice disorders. Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- Active Pennsylvania SLP license
Desired Qualifications
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings
- Experience evaluating and treating dysphagia, cognitive-communication disorders, and voice disorders
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
