Job Summary
Provide evaluation and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in an interdisciplinary long-term care setting at a skilled nursing facility in Glendive, MT. Develop individualized plans of care, document progress, and support discharge planning and family education for medically complex patients. Work with interdisciplinary teams to improve communication, swallowing safety, and quality of life. This 36-hour weekly assignment may require floating to other facilities as needed. Candidates must hold an active Montana SLP license, a Master's degree, and a CCC from ASHA.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active Montana SLP license
Desired Qualifications
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment
