Job Summary
Travel Speech Language Pathologist needed to provide evaluation and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Prophetstown, IL. Requires CFY and CCC-ASHA, and an active IL SLP license. Duties include dysphagia evaluation and treatment with potential instrumental assessments (FEES/MBSS) and documentation in electronic medical records. Schedule is days, 5 days per week, with benefits and recruiter support for clinicians.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- Active Illinois SLP license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings preferred
- Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment, including instrumental assessments (e.g., FEES or MBSS), preferred
- Experience with documentation in electronic medical records preferred
