Job Summary
Travel Speech-Language Pathologist for a hospital-based, outpatient-focused role in Bishop, CA. Primary responsibilities include providing speech-language pathology services to pediatric and adult outpatients, performing instrumental swallowing evaluations (MBSS) for adults, and offering occasional inpatient/acute care coverage. Schedule emphasizes outpatient practice with a 4x10 shift pattern (Mon–Fri) and one weekend per month on-call coverage, with float to acute care units as needed. Requires Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, California licensure, CCC-SLP, CPR/BLS, and experience with pediatric and adult outpatient populations; bilingual Spanish skills preferred. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- California Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with both pediatric and adult outpatient populations
- Ability to independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) for adults
- Willingness to float to acute care units as needed
