Job Summary
Conduct evaluations and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders, perform bedside swallow evaluations, and support acute care and 26-bed inpatient rehabilitation caseloads in a level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke facility. Use Meditech for documentation and TIMS equipment as available. Gray scrubs are the required uniform. Float between acute care and inpatient rehab units. Schedule runs Monday through Friday from 0800–1700 with rotating weekends preferred. No on-call rotation. Master's degree, CCC, and active Missouri SLP license required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active Missouri state SLP license
- BLS certification
- Experience performing bedside swallow evaluations
Desired Qualifications
- experience with video swallowing assessments
- Experience working in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings
- Experience in level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke care environments
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
- Experience using TIMS equipment
- Willingness to work rotating weekends
