Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Evaluate and treat adults with communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care, document progress, and participate in care planning. Provide education to patients and caregivers to support functional outcomes and safe discharge planning. Shift hours are 0800-1630, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute meal break. A Master's degree, CCC, and active California SLP license are required; BLS certification may be needed. Experience in long-term care settings and travel is preferred. Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active California SLP license
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC
Desired Qualifications
- Experience providing SLP services in skilled nursing or long-term care settings
- Proficiency evaluating and treating dysphagia and communication disorders, including use of standardized assessments and treatment plans
- Experience with documentation systems commonly used in SNFs and skilled nursing environments
- Prior travel clinician experience
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams, restorative nursing programs, and caregiver education
